Jadon Sancho transfer stance revealed amid Man Utd to Nottingham Forest link

Latest Nottingham Forest transfer news as the view of Man Utd’s Jadon Sancho is revealed amid reports linking him to the Reds.
Reported Nottingham Forest target Jadon Sancho is “open to leaving” Manchester United.

The 23-year-old is currently training alone at United, having fallen out with manager Erik ten Hag over his absence from the United squad when they lost 3-1 to Arsenal a fortnight ago.

Because of his situation, Sancho could be set to move on in January amid reported interest from Steve Cooper, who managed Sancho with England under-17s when they won the World Cup six years ago.

According to our colleagues at Manchester Evening News, Sancho is “open” to joining a new club, with Forest “identified” as a possible option. A return to Borussia Dortmund could also be on the cards.
The MEN say that “sources close to the winger believe it may be in Sancho’s best interests to move elsewhere”, though the forward is “reluctant” to play in Saudi Arabia because he is still young.

Last season, Sancho scored six goals and assisted three more in 26 Premier League appearances for United. The youngster has struggled to hit the form he found at Dortmund, where he scored 50 goals in 137 games.

If Sancho were to join Forest, he would be linking back up with former United teammate Anthony Elanga, who moved from Old Trafford to the City Ground in a £15 million move this summer.
