Carlos Corberan fumes at West Brom duo in EFL Championship clash v Millwall.
Carlos Corberan was not happy at what he saw from two of his West Brom players in the 0-0 Championship clash against Millwall on Saturday, 23 September.

The Baggies hosted Millwall at the Hawthorns and Corberan did not like Alex Mowatt and Brandon Thomas-Asante not being on the same page.

Birmingham Live journalist Joe Chapman noticed this and took to Twitter to share the incident.

He wrote, “Carlos is irritated. Mowatt & BTA on different wavelengths as the former does really well to win the ball high. Mowatt eventually nips in to reclaim the ball and earns a free kick.”

Cohesion needed

The Baggies side looked extremely disorganised in the game and Corberan was right to be fuming at them.

There was no authority in the middle of the park and plenty of attacks just broke down with nothing really coming from them.

This was a very good opportunity for the Baggies to take some strides up on the Championship table and edge closer to the play-off places.

They now sit in 13th place and are only three points off sixth place after the first eight games played this season.

With only two losses, it’s not a bad position to be in for Corberan’s side but they’ve got to turn these draws into wins.

They’ve drawn the most games in the division this season and will certainly not want to continue this trend.
