. Last month, the Magpies opened their Champions League campaign with a 0-0 draw against Milan at the San Siro.
“The one thing I know is that I went through this transition with Manchester City, where you go from never playing in the Champions League or not playing for a long time to your first season back.”
“The important thing is to gain experience and try to play your game.” Of course, the Champions League is the highest level, but the Premier League has advanced to the point where I don’t believe any English teams need to be fearful of the major sides in the Champions League.”
