Just In:Crystal Palace Confirmed another fantastic star now set to miss Nottingham Forest game as Roy Hodgson handed fresh blow

Crystal Palace’s injury list is rising after the latest tests revealed Eberechi Eze has a hamstring injury.

Crystal Palace midfielder Eberechi Eze will not play this weekend after suffering a hamstring injury in the Premier League triumph against Manchester United.

The 25-year-old was set to play for England during the international break, but his current injury will keep him out of the game against Forest and the rest of the international break.

Eze suffered a hamstring injury in training, adding to a crowded treatment room and further taxing one of the Premier League’s smallest squads.

He joins the list of players who have been ruled out, which includes Michael Olise, Dean Henderson, Matheus Franca, Jefferson Lerma, and Naouirou Ahamada.

Roy Hodgson has done an outstanding job this season, highlighted by their 1-0 triumph over Manchester United and their midtable position in the Premier League.

When the Eagles face Steve Cooper’s Nottingham Forest, who are three places and three points below the Eagles, they will be hoping for another win.

Palace have lost Wilfried Zaha to Galatasaray and Michael Olise to injury this season, but they have had a good start to the season, winning three, losing two, and drawing two of their first seven games.

They’ve had to accomplish it with a massive injury list, which makes it even more impressive given that they made few additions to the squad over the summer.
