Nottingham Forest striker Taiwo Awoniyi has been ruled out for a lengthy period of time after suffering a groin problem. Reds boss Steve Cooper confirmed before their match against Crystal Palace that the front man is expected to be out of action for up to a month.

It is a big blow for the Reds as the 26-year-old has been in fine form. He had picked up from where he left off in 2022/23 after scoring in each of his first three appearances this season.
