Breaking news :Another Sydney Roosters star suffer a devastating injury

Saints’ loose forward, Morgan Knowles, and Sydney Roosters’ wing, Dom Young, have been ruled out of the three-game series against Tonga.

Dom Young had to undergo a procedure to drain an abscess last week and is still hospitalized, making him unavailable for the remainder of the series.

Morgan Knowles sustained a thumb injury in the recent 22-18 victory at the Totally Wicked Stadium. After consulting with a specialist, it has been determined that he will not be able to participate in the next two weeks of the series.

Head Coach Shaun Wane will proceed with a 22-player squad for the upcoming games in Huddersfield on Saturday, October 28th, and Leeds on Saturday, November 4th.

Wane expressed his confidence in the squad despite the loss of two players and highlighted the strong performances of Tom Johnstone and Tommy Makinson during the weekend. He also mentioned that there are other options, such as winger Matty Ashton, who is vying for a place in the team. Additionally, several forwards like Tyler Dupree, Robbie Mulhern, and Liam Farrell, who were not part of the previous weekend’s lineup, are available to step in during Morgan’s absence.
