Breaking News:Just In Miami Hurricanes confirm to Lose Another Star To Transfer Portal

Miami Hurricanes Lose Former Top 100 Recruit To The Transfer Portal
The Miami Hurricanes continually seem to come up short every season. While there is a lot of hope heading into the season, the Hurricanes could not come out with a win to close the season in their bowl game. After the loss, the program got some more terrible news. Former top 100 recruit Collins Acheampong said he is entering the transfer portal.

Miami Hurricanes Lose Edge Collins Acheampong

Acheampong was a part of the 2023 class therefore he will have four years of eligibility remaining. The 6-foot-8, 270-pound edge rusher was a top-100 recruit in last year’s cycle. He selected the Hurricanes over Michigan but is now back on the market. Acheampong is likely transferring because of a lack of playing time. He did not see the field in 2023 despite being a highly rated recruit. There will certainly be significant competition for his services since an edge rusher is a premium position in sports.

2024 Outlook
Miami will attempt to return back on top of the ACC in 2024. The initial glance at the schedule seems promising. They open the season against a Florida club that is shedding talent. After that, the greatest matchup will be against the defending conference champion Florida State. The recruiting has been outstanding in the 2024 cycle but now the issue will be to make that translate to success on the field. If the Hurricanes cannot be in the mix for the ACC, there will undoubtedly be a lot of concerns about the coaching staff.

Can the Miami Hurricanes eventually get back on top of the college football world? It has been over 20 years but they are finally optimistic 2024 can be their year.
