Breaking: Las Vegas Raiders Antonio Pierce ‘Likes’ Alabama Top Talented Star

Antonio Pierce “Likes” Alabama CB Terrion Arnold, according to Raiders news
The Las Vegas Raiders will be looking to add players to their roster in order to contend for a postseason run, therefore the 2024 NFL Draft will be crucial. For this team, particularly with head coach Antonio Pierce at the helm and new general manager Tom Telesco handling the front office, securing that first-round pick is imperative.

Even though there have been many reports that the Raiders would trade up, they still hold the 13th overall pick, so it’s unclear what they will do with it. While adding a player to the secondary or strengthening the offensive or defensive lines is still a possibility, the quarterback position is still open.

At Alabama’s Terrion Arnold Pro Day, one of the best cornerback prospects was on show. Arnold was observed chatting with Pierce following the practice, and he claimed that the Raiders coach had told him via The 33rd Team that he liked him.

Arnold, who excelled at Alabama and was a complete shutdown corner for the Crimson Tide the previous season, has a lot to offer. As the closest defender, he let up only four passes of 20 yards or more, and his opponent’s quarterback rating was only 50.7. In 2023, Arnold was selected to the First Team All-American after racking up 63 tackles, including 6.5 tackles for loss, five interceptions, and twelve passes defensed.

The Raiders’ defense could definitely use a little more support, particularly in the area of forcing turnovers, which has been a problem for the team in recent years. The Raiders have a lot of options, but Arnold seems like a player who would fit in well with Pierce.

Raiders and former All-Pro wide receiver Tre’Davious White will meet.
The Raiders are not afraid to go after cornerback because they recognize that the position still needs work.

Tre’Davious White, a former All-Pro cornerback who the Buffalo Bills released earlier this offseason, will visit with the organization. White was maybe the finest player in the NFL at his position three years ago, but he has struggled with injuries the last three seasons.

White will need to demonstrate that he is healing well and prepared to resume his prior level of performance, as his most recent injury was a torn Achilles that occurred in Week 4 of the 2023 season.
