Good News: Just In Cleveland Browns Confirm The Signing Of Another Top NFL Star

Former Kicker Re-Signs With The Browns
The Cleveland Browns, who lost several important players to injuries during the regular season, were among the surprising teams to make it to the NFL Playoffs in 2023.

Cleveland’s chances of winning the 2024 season are good because they made offseason personnel changes. However, they were eliminated by the Houston Texans in the Wild Card Round.

While general manager Andrew Berry went out and acquired Jerry Jeudy to give the passing game more energy, Deshaun Watson is anticipated to be totally healthy.

The Browns defense should continue to rank among the best in the NFL, especially with Myles Garrett back from injury.

Cleveland has to bolster their special teams unit in order to complete the roster.

In related news, Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com reports that the Browns have signed former kicker Cade York back to the team.

According to Cabot, “K Cade York is re-signing with the #Browns.”

York had a great career at LSU, and Cleveland originally selected him in the fourth round of the 2022 NFL Draft.

Nevertheless, York struggled to convert just 24 out of 32 field goals during his debut campaign.

Going 35-of-37, he also missed a handful of extra points.

After struggling in the next preseason, York was waived by the Browns in favor of Dustin Hopkins.

After that, the placekicker was a member of the practice squads for the Tennessee Titans and the New York Giants before returning to Cleveland.

York will probably have to contend with competition for the kicker position in 2024, and it will be intriguing to watch how he performs in his return.
