News from Auburn Tigers: 4-star RB locks in official visit; DL transfers have a significant influence
In today’s Auburn Tigers News, a 4-star running back is scheduled to pay a formal visit to Auburn football, and two defensive line transfers are significantly impacting the Tigers.

In today’s Auburn Tigers News, two defensive line additions are significantly improving the Tigers, and a four-star running back is scheduled to make an official visit to Auburn football.

Following the 2023 season, head coach Hugh Freeze and the coaching staff brought in two of the first players: Trill Carter and Gage Keys. Together, the two played college football at Minnesota. They parted ways last season, with Carter going to Texas and Keys to Kansas, but they are now back together as teammates on the Plains.

By the time the A-Day game came around earlier this month, it was obvious that both defensive lineman would have an immediate impact for the Tigers and had established themselves as starters at the front of the rotation. Vontrell King-Williams, the defensive line coach, felt that both players were key additions from the transfer portal.

Vontrell King-Williams stated, “I absolutely love Gage and I absolutely love Trill,” according to Auburn Rivals. “Those people have taken some actions that will place them in advantageous circumstances. We’ve definitely hit on those two transfers, but there are still some technical issues to work out.

A four-star running back intends to pay a formal visit to Auburn football.
In other recruiting news, Auburn football coach and four-star running back Ousmane Kromah have scheduled an official visit. Kromah, a native of Leesburg, Georgia, is rated as the #10 talent out of Peach State and the #4 running back in the recruiting class of 2025.

As to his 247 Sports page, Kromah has scheduled five formal trips for the summer. Auburn on May 17, Miami on May 31, Florida State on June 7, Florida on June 14, and Georgia on June 21 are the dates he will be visiting.

The running back may decide late in the season because of his intentions to tour other colleges in 2024, but the Tigers are making every effort to remain at the top of Kromah’s list.
