Breaking News: Texas Longhorn Confirm The Departure Of Another Star

### Mizzou Women’s Basketball Signs Junior Transfer Tionna Herron

COLUMBIA, Mo. – The University of Missouri women’s basketball team has added junior transfer Tionna Herron from Texas, as announced by head coach Robin Pingeton on Wednesday.

Herron, ranked as the No. 69 overall recruit in the 2022 class, played in 11 games for the Longhorns during her true freshman season. She achieved a season-high six points against UT Arlington, shooting 3-of-5 from the field.

A four-star recruit from DeSoto High School, Herron was instrumental in leading her team to consecutive state titles and earned Texas Association of Basketball All-State honors in 2022.

Originally, Herron signed with Kentucky out of high school but did not play due to undergoing open-heart surgery before the season began.

Herron is the third transfer to join the Tigers this offseason, alongside Tilda Sjökvist, Nyah Wilson, and Laniah Randle.
