Wildcats Secure Commitment from Top-Rated Arizona QB Luke Haugo

Higley High School quarterback Luke Haugo announced his commitment to play for Arizona in 2025 on Tuesday via social media, stating, “Stayin’ Home” on X.

Haugo, a local three-star athlete, is the top-rated quarterback in Arizona’s 2025 class according to 247 Sports, and he ranks eighth overall across all positions in the state. He received offers from Arizona, Arizona State, Northern Arizona, Oregon, and Oregon State before choosing the Wildcats.

Haugo is the second quarterback in the 2025 recruiting class to commit to Arizona, following three-star Robert McDaniel’s commitment last month.

Currently, Arizona’s quarterback lineup includes Noah Fifita, who is returning after two seasons in Tucson. The room is also filled out by second-year backup Brayden Dorman, transfers Anthony Garcia and Adam Damante, and walk-on Cole Tannenbaum.

Last season, Arizona’s quarterback achieved a 72.4% completion rate, throwing for 2,869 yards, 25 touchdowns, and six interceptions.
