Rafael Leao has been named EA FC’s ‘Player of the Month in Serie A’ for September. Given the Portuguese winger’s statistics, one can only concur with the verdict.
Leao appeared in five league games for Milan in September, four of which he started, and scored three times. In addition, he assisted on two more goals.
One of the goals was an acrobatic finish against Roma, which explains why EA FC awarded him player of the month. The victory over Hellas Verona comes to mind as well, as it was three critical points.
