Crystal Palace now in race with PL clubs to sign 20-year-old fantastic player who made professional debut at Selhurst Park

Crystal Palace are reportedly interested in Championship forward Jonathan Rowe, but they will face competition from many Premier League clubs.

That’s according to reports from TEAMtalk.

What’s the story?

According to TEAMtalk, Norwich City want to offer Rowe a ‘bumper contract’ after his outstanding performances this season.

They want to offer him this contract since there is so much interest in the 20-year-old offensive midfielder.

According to the source, Crystal Palace, Brentford, Aston Villa, Burnley, and Sheffield United are all keeping an eye on the midfielder.

They have all ‘shown an interest in recent weeks’ in Rowe, and it appears that Norwich will need to sign him to a new deal soon if they want to keep him.

Jonathan Rowe would be an excellent signing for Crystal Palace

The Englishman, who can play on both wings and as an attacking midfielder, is having a fantastic season in the 2023/24 Championship.

Rowe has six goals and one assist in 11 Championship games, as well as one goal and one assist in two Carabao Cup games.

He is a young player with a lot of potential who enjoys taking on the defense and has a good eye for goal. Rowe appears to be an ideal fit for a Palace team that has brought in youthful offensive talent from the Championship, such as Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze.

With the Eagles battling in the top half and already showing that they can offer a great path for young talent, they should be a tempting proposition for Rowe should they make a bid for the Norwich player.

The possibility of a transfer would also feel like fate to Palace fans, given Rowe made his Premier League debut for Norwich at Selhurst Park. Rowe made his debut against Palace in December 2021 as a replacement.

He appears to be a great talent, and he would be a terrific signing for the Eagles both now and in the future.
