Breaking News: Five-star WR Name Texas Longhorns As His Preferred Destination As Visit Date Confirmed

Dakorien Moore, a five-star wide receiver, is only interested in four institutions.

Going forward, the top wide receiver in the country has four finalists in mind.

Dakorien Moore, a five-star wide receiver from Duncanville who has been committed to the LSU Tigers since last August, is being recruited like crazy by several organizations, despite being one of the most exciting players in the 2025 recruiting class.

Moore has been steadfastly loyal to the Tigers, but on Monday he made the announcement that he will no longer be communicating with other programs and that he has decided to focus only on four programs going ahead. Moore’s four finalists include the Texas Longhorns in an attempt to weaken his loyalty to LSU head coach Brian Kelly.

Oregon, Ohio State, LSU, and the Longhorns complete his top four schools. In the upcoming months, wide receivers from all four programs will probably be selected pretty early in the NFL Draft, and they have all just finished seasons in which they shown excellent ability at the position.

Adonai Mitchell and Xavier Worthy both put themselves in a position to hear their names called on the first night of the draft, so Texas has a wonderful tale to tell. However, they will need to prove themselves if they hope to get Moore’s signature. Early on, LSU assembled a very strong recruiting class that included five-star running back Harlem Berry and quarterback Bryce Underwood.

According to the 247Sports Composite rankings, Moore is the third-ranked player overall and the nation’s top wide receiver prospect. Moore hauled in 18 touchdowns and compiled 71 receptions for 1,523 yards during his junior campaign, helping Duncanville win another state championship.
