Latest News Raiders News: Las Vegas Raiders Confirm Another Visit Of Top Talented Star Amid Commitment

A Visit From A DT Prospect With The Raiders
The No. 13 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft will be used by the Las Vegas Raiders, who may prefer to select one of the top quarterbacks from this talented class to play the most crucial position on the football field.

The current Heisman Trophy winner Jayden Daniels is expected to be selected by the Raiders, but it appears highly unlikely that the former LSU standout will be available until at least the third pick in the draft, since the first three teams will almost certainly select quarterbacks.

Superstar wide receiver Davante Adams has endorsed Daniels, who has ties to head coach Antonio Pierce, but the Raiders will need to pull off a major deal to get up to No. 3 or higher in order to acquire him.

The Raiders may have to go elsewhere with their first pick and the subsequent picks, possibly addressing the defensive side of the ball, since a blockbuster trade to advance is doubtful at this time.

According to Tristen Kuhn of TWSN, the Raiders brought defensive tackle Braden Fiske from Florida State in for a visit this week, suggesting that he is a player they are interested in.

Fiske might be another piece in the jigsaw as Las Vegas looks to improve its defense around star defensive end Maxx Crosby, as evidenced by the Raiders’ recent acquisition of Christian Watkins, a standout defensive lineman.

On draft day, though, it will be interesting to see which way the team chooses because they might take a large chance on a quarterback.
