Latest Texans News: Just In Houston Texans Confirm The Departure Of Three Stars

TE Josh Thompson, DE Myjai Sanders, and WR Alex Bachman were cut by the Texans.
On Tuesday, the Texans announced the cuts of defensive back Josh Thompson, defensive end Myjai Sanders, and wide receiver Alex Bachman.

Sanders, who the Cardinals selected in the third round in 2022, played in seven games with the Texans in the previous campaign. He finished with two quarterback hits and seven tackles.

Sanders has three sacks and thirty tackles in his career.

Following stints with the Titans and Jaguars, Thompson inked a futures contract with the Texans in January.

After spending the 2023 offseason and training camp with the Texans, Bachman also inked a futures contract with the organization. He tore an oblique last August, and the Texans placed him on injured reserve with an injury settlement.

Despite not participating in a game, he re-signed in November to rejoin the team’s practice squad.
