Rams sign DE C.J. Ravenell and quarterback Emory Jones.
During the team’s minicamp this weekend, quarterback Emory Jones tried out and made the roster for the Ravens.
According to the NFL’s daily transaction report, the team has signed Jones and defensive end C.J. Ravenell. In matching actions, defensive tackle Tre’Darious Colbert and wide receiver Jelani Baker were waived.
During his college career, Jones was a journeyman, spending four years at Florida and one year each at Arizona State and Cincinnati. In his final college season, he started games in all three stops and completed 197 of 322 passes for 2,219 yards, 18 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions.
At Missouri Western in 2023, Ravenell recorded 45 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, and three sacks.
