Breaking: Tennessee Volunteers Confirm Another Departure As Top Talented Corner Decommits From Vols Football

**Shamar Arnoux Decommits from Tennessee**

On Saturday evening, 2025 three-star cornerback Shamar Arnoux (Carrollton, Ga.) announced his decommitment from the Tennessee Volunteers. Despite Tennessee’s overall success in the 2025 recruiting trail, they faced a setback with Arnoux’s decision. Arnoux, Tennessee’s first commit for the 2025 class and a former teammate of Vols corner commits Dylan Lewis and Tyler Redmond, is a cornerback prospect from Georgia.

Before announcing his decommitment, Arnoux visited Georgia with his high school teammate and USC quarterback commit Julian Lewis. He posted a picture of his visit on social media with the caption, “This visit hit different.”

The Volunteers had numerous visitors on campus, including top targets like Cameron Sparks and Ethan Utley, making it unusual for a commit to visit another school during a major recruiting event. However, Arnoux’s announcement clarified the situation. Despite this loss, Tennessee’s 2025 recruiting class remains strong, currently ranked No. 11 in the 247Sports Composite Rankings.
